A Summer Place

Last June (2018) friends invited us to spend a weekend with them in North Truro, on Cape Cod. Edward Hopper’s home was visible a couple of miles to the south and Provincetown was the same distance to the northwest. And then there was the light, especially in the evening, it was magical. It’s clear why this is an artist’s haven. The luminance provided by the sun reflecting off the ocean is incredible and the effect lasts for hours approaching sundown.
